With over 3 million jobs lost, the stock market in shambles, and with budgets cuts state, city and federal wide, is the recession putting a dampen effect on your kick game?

with me: not really. lucky for me, i have a government job (TSA WE THE GANG!!) and my check are aight enough to purchase some 200 dollar foamposites or some 150 dollar retros and not starve or worry about my rent and stuff.

No A Car Did

Well...... still being in school and all I don't have any serious bills to worry about like Mortgage or car payments or loans of any kind. I do have Tuition and Books to worry about and a little bit of credit Card debt but nothing serious. So I'm not feeling it like many of the unfortunate out there. But I guess I could say that with the slow economy I've seen my job cut hours short lately. With that I still can land the kicks I like however I can't land them when the first come out. I'm always like a week or two behind. Only 1 pair and that was the 2009's hurt me. The limited edition ones came out in the end of the month and I just recieved my statement for the Credit Card Bill from the books I had to buy for class and gas. So I missed on on those when they first released. I did however still land a pair through eBay. Only payed $50 above retail so it wasn't too bad.

It also helps that not that many sick kicks have been coming out. So not copping pairs when they first come out isn't a disaster since they don't sell out as quick.

also its makes it easier to wait a while. i notice with the recession alot of kicks get overlooked and you can copped at DIRT CHEAP prices. Like my grey air bakins. They were $125 when they dropped. I waited two months, got em for $65. My brown air pipens: $80 when i copped em compared to $150 when they dropped.

Hells yes. Unfortunately I was laid off due to the recession. Right now I'm more about feeding my face than my feet. I will be back on top though.
